Dennis A. Wilkinson, aka Dennis the Minis--ter Dennis was appointed as Senior Pastor in June of 2004. He came to Coppell after serving nine years as Senior Pastor of Floral Heights UMC in Wichita Falls. Previous appointments were at FUMC Commerce, FUMC Van Alstyne and Waples Memorial UMC in Denison. His other service in the Conference has included: Co-Chair of Children's SEEK Camp (for special needs children); Chair, NTC Camping Committee; Registrar, NTC Board of Ordained Ministry, Division of Preparations and Qualifications for Elders; Chair, NTC Commission on Equitable Salaries; Secretary, NTC Commission on the Status and Role of Women. He attended seminary at The Iliff School of Theology (MDiv '80) in Denver and his undergraduate degree is from SMU (BA '70). Between those times he served six years in the Air Force as a pilot -- or as the staff says, "What?! You flew…?" He retired from the Air Force Reserve as a Chaplain, thereby living out his fascination with the Sixties protest song by Eric Burden and The Animals, "Sky Pilot." Dennis and Linda celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in July '06. Linda is a Speech-Language Pathologist in Coppell ISD.

Rev. Susan Bryan – Congregational Care & Adult Christian Formation Susan is an ordained deacon and a licensed professional counselor, and has been on staff at FUMC since June of 2006. She and her family live in Carrollton. Husband Bill is a pharmacist. Daughter Brittany is a student at University of North Texas and son Brandon is a student at Newman Smith HS. They have one very spoiled cat, Angel. In her spare time, Susan enjoys reading, traveling, retreats, antique shopping, good movies, chocolate, and silence & solitude. |

Rev. Jennifer Scott - Pastor of Children's Ministries Jennifer grew up in Jenks, OK and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Oklahoma State University in 1995. She graduated Perkins School of Theology (SMU) with a Master of Religious Education in 1997 and returned to Oklahoma to work in the local church. Jennifer was ordained deacon in the Oklahoma Annual Conference in June, 2004 and came to FUMC Coppell that same month. Her husband Toby is an Operations Manager for Saddle Creek Corporation in Fort Worth. They have one son, Charlie, who is 3 years old and was recently "dethroned" as the youngest staff member at FUMC. His new sister Abby took over that role on April 11, 2008. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys playing with her "boys" and their new princess and hopes to return to marathons again someday. |

Rev. Frank Rahm - Associate Pastor Frank has been on staff at FUMC since June of 2005. He attended seminary at SMU Perkins School of Theology (MDiv, '05), and received his BA from the University of Texas ('87). He spent over a dozen years in high tech sales, serving as a youth volunteer at his home church before entering ordained ministry. Frank and his wife Tracy married in 1987, several years after they first met in 7th grade Sunday School! Tracy teaches first grade. Daughter Emily graduates high school in 2007, and daughter Caroline finishes 3rd grade in 2007. Frank is interested in all sports (especially football), loves movies (especially in black & white), and plays with several other North Texas Conference clergy in a local band called “Connections”. He also knows far too much trivia for his own good. |

Nathan Frank Nathan joined the staff in July 2006, leading the strong and enriching music program at First United Methodist Church. Nathan is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from University of North Texas with a degree in voice and has a Masters Degree in Choral Conducting at Southern Methodist University. For the past several years, Nathan has taught private voice lessons in the Dallas area while sharing his love of liturgical music as Director of Music Ministries at Waples United Methodist Church in Denison and Director of Choral Music at First United Methodist Church of Plano. Also, Nathan is the director of a professional choir called Domine that sings music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In addition to his musical interests, he can be found reading, fishing, or out on the golf course. |
Deanna Goodman Deanna loves leading our children and their volunteers in music ministry. Deanna and her husband Kendall have four terrific kids.

Nancy Jarrett On staff at FUMC since August 2005, Nancy directs Ruach wind ensemble, two youth handbell choirs, as well as the adult handbell choir. Outside of church, Nancy is an active professional musician on her primary instrument, the French Horn. Most weekends find her performing with local orchestras or musical theatre productions. She also teaches private lessons at Coppell HS and CMS North. In May 2007, Nancy completed her Masters degree from UNT in Horn Performance. In what spare time she has left, she enjoys family, friends, watching sports and movies, and having quiet time at home. |

John Scott John is a life long Methodist who has been part of the church staff since August 2005. He grew up in DeSoto, TX and graduated with a B.S. degree in Mathematics with a biblical study minor from Dallas Baptist University. He got into the ministry during college interning for a local UMC and has been involved in youth ministry for five years. In his spare time, John likes all types of sports, especially soccer and ultimate Frisbee. He also enjoys changing his hair and facial hair style, to keep people on their toes. |
Julie Weaver Co-Youth Director Julie joined the staff of FUMC in August of 2006. She graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Applied Learning and Development in 2005. Julie caught the ministry ‘bug’ at the Texas Wesley Foundation in Austin through leading girls discipleship groups, serving as the President of Leadership Council, and a fulltime ministry internship last year. She is passionate about social justice, missions, fighting HIV/AIDS in Africa, and creating places for people to experience Christ in meaningful ways. Outside of church Julie enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies, reading, and baking. Julie currently holds the youth department record for most pieces of Double Bubble in her mouth at one time with an impressive 34 pieces.

Kelly Williams Christian Education & Confirmation Kelly Williams has been a member of FUMC, Coppell for nine years and joined the church staff in February of 2005. She coordinates Confirmation classes and fellowship groups for children as the Assistant to Children’s Ministry. Kelly and her husband, Ford, have been married for 23 years, and sons Charlie and Jimmy are active participants in the youth and music ministry programs. When not at church, Kelly volunteers her time with school activities and Boy Scouts. Kelly received her B.A. in Christian Education from Centenary College of Louisiana in 1984. She worked in youth ministries at Broadmoor United Methodist Church, Shreveport following graduation until 1989. Kelly and Ford transferred to Houston in 1989, and she worked in recreation and family ministries at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church until 1996. After a brief move to St. Louis, Kelly and Ford transferred to Coppell in 1998 where they hope to make their home for many years to come. |

Anne Hinkle Anne has been on staff at FUMC since September 2001, Anne and her husband, Delwin, met at Baylor University and came to Coppell in 1983. Daughter Lindsay is a senior in college and daughter Stacey is a sophomore in college. In her spare time, Anne enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. |
