Vacation Bible School 2008
Registration is April 13th through June 1st.
Feel the Surf and Catch the Wave of God’s Love!
Your children will gain a closer relationship with God, experience the love of Jesus, and will be inspired to share their beliefs with others.
- VBS will be held June 16-20, 9:00 am-12:00 pm.
- All children entering Kindergarten- 6th grade are welcome.
- Cost is $10 per child (includes T-shirt) with $30 max per family. The final day to register is Sunday, June 1st.
- New this year is our Daycare Transportation program.
- Participants entering 6th grade will be a member of the VBS Mission Team and will set out to provide assistance to our community for the third year!!
- We continue to open our doors to ALL God’s children. Loving Hands encourages all Kindergarten – 5th graders to participate in VBS. If your child could benefit from a Loving Hands buddy please contact Heather Shaw at hshaw@fumccoppell.org.
- Start saving your pennies. Our mission project this year is Nothing But Nets where $10 buys a net to help protect a family in Africa from the deadly disease of Malaria.
VBS cannot happen without a lot of great volunteers!! If you are able to help, please contact Cindy Wilson cindywilson@verizon.net - As in years past, we welcome help from all church youth. Please stop by the registration table and inform us of your talents and interest so we find the best position for you!
If you are not able to serve as a VBS volunteer, perhaps you could do your part by helping in our preparations from your home or by bring treats to the youth and adult volunteers to be put in our hospitality room the week of VBS. Stop by the VBS table to sign-up and learn about other ways you can help from your office or home.
